TOKYO (AP) — Asian shares were trading mostly lower Tuesday, despite a rally on Wall Street in stocks seen as benefiting the most from Donald Trump’s reelection as president. Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 gained 0.6% in morning trading to 39,774.43. But the rest of the regional markets didn’t get much of a perk. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 lost 0.3% to 8,238.00. South Korea’s Kospi declined 0.5% to 2,520.34. Chinese tech stocks have been declining lately, while investors also have their eyes on upcoming earnings reports out of China.
