Veterans Day Events Around The Mother Lode ...Middle East

Sonora, CA — There are several public events today in honor of Veterans Day. The Copperopolis Veterans Day pancake breakfast will be held from 8-10:30 am at the Copperopolis Armory at 695 Main Street. A Veterans Day Remembrance ceremony will run from 10:45 – 11:30 am at the Columbia Cemetery on School House Street. The Divide Cemetery in Big Oak Flat will host a ceremony at 11 am. The US Flag will be lowered and Taps will be played.  A Veterans Day spaghetti dinner will be held from 5-8 pm at the Native Sons Hall on Main Street in Murphys hosted by the Native Daughters and Sons of the Golden West.
