Chapel Hill’s New Rosemary Street Parking Deck Begins Charging Fees ...Middle East

While Chapel Hill’s newest parking deck came online several months ago, it did so while the town was still working to install the payment services in and out of the structure. As a result, parking since late August has been free at 125 East Rosemary Street. Starting on Monday, though, that changes. The Town of Chapel Hill announced in its newsletter on Thursday the deck will begin charging its normal rates to users on Monday, ending the streak of fare-free parking at the $51 million amenity. The deck features pay stations at both entrances and exits off of East Rosemary Street and North Street — and will charge at a slightly different rate than some of its other structured or off-street park
