Police respond to shots fired near Columbus airport ...Middle East

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Police said shots were fired Saturday afternoon at the Residence Inn parking lot at John Glenn International Airport. Airport police confirmed a weapon was discharged and that no one was hurt. Police said the situation is contained and there is no immediate threat to the public. The Residence Inn is one of several hotels located on airport property near the cell phone waiting lot, and sits on International Gateway. Airport police said an investigation is ongoing.
