Angles Camp, CA – With five candidates vying for three seats on the Angels Camp City Council, a new tally shows the race is still too close to call. The latest update from the Calaveras County Elections Office shows the top two candidates, Michael Chimente with 1,169 votes to 1,006 for Scott Behiel in second place. Where the race tightens is between third place challenger Caroline Schirato with 834 votes versus fourth place challenger Mary F. Kelly with 819 votes, just a 15-vote difference.
