Adviser to son of El Chapo indicted in Chicago ...Middle East

A federal grand jury in Chicago has indicted an adviser to a son of “El Chapo,” the imprisoned former leader of Mexico’s Sinaloa drug cartel. Jose Angel Canobbio Inzunza, 44, was charged with drug conspiracy in a five-page indictment returned on Monday. Canobbio Inzunza — also known as “Guero,” “Guerito,” and “El 90″ — is believed to be living in Mexico. Authorities issued a warrant for his arrest. According to U.S. prosecutors, he was the principal adviser, lieutenant and security chief for Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar, one of the sons of Sinaloa cartel kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Loera, who’s serving a life sentence in a maximum security federal prison in Colorado.
