The Misdemeanor Economic Court sentenced Ahmed Bassam Zaki to three years in prison on Tuesday, referring the civil case to the competent court on the grounds of misusing social media. Investigations revealed that Zaki had sexually harassed the first victim in Cairo’s Mokattam neighbored by sending her sexual and pornographic material on WhatsApp, thereby misusing means of communications.
