Angels Camp, CA — There are three open seats on the Angels Camp City Council, and the top two vote-getters are Michael Chimente with 943 votes and in second is Scott Behiel with 841 votes. The race for the third seat is tied, with Mary Kelly and Caroline Schirato both having 679 votes. In fifth is Michael Fish with 618 votes. The winner of the third seat will be unknown for several days. Calaveras County Clerk-Recorder Rebecca Turner reports, “There are roughly 5,100 vote-by-mail ballots yet to be counted.
