Sharjah Sustainable City (SSC) has joined forces with the University of Sharjah’s College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD) to promote sustainable agriculture amongst students. As part of this collaboration, SSC recently participated in the Sustainability Day celebrations hosted by CFAD under the theme ‘Beyond the 17 Sustainable Development Goals’. During the event, experts from the city conducted a special workshop titled ‘Plant Your Pot’, where 300 students, faculty and staff learned about creative sustainable agriculture practices.
