Valley Springs, CA – Air and ground resources battled the blaze this afternoon, and fire officials warn that the grass remains dry even with some rain and cooler temperatures. The blaze broke out during the one o’clock hour on Hogan Dam Road, on the south side of New Hogan Reservoir in the Valley Springs area of Calaveras County.
