Tim Kaine wins reelection in Virginia ...Middle East

Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) won his reelection bid Tuesday, fending off a challenge from Republican Hung Cao, The Hill/Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) projected. Cao, who also ran for Congress in 2022, faced an uphill climb against Kaine.  The incumbent led his GOP challenger in the polls ahead of Election Day. The Hill/DDHQ's polling average showed Kaine leading Cao, who was backed by former President Trump, with 52.2 percent support to 42.4 percent.
