Burhan calls for international support in rebuilding Sudan at World Urban Forum ...Sudan

November 4, 2024 (CAIRO)—Sudan’s military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan called on the international community to support Sudan’s rebuilding at the World Urban Forum in Cairo on Monday. Burhan, who also heads Sudan’s Sovereign Council, attended the forum at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the head of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, were also present, along with UN officials and representatives from various countries.
