DENVER (KDVR) — Interstate 70 was closed both westbound and eastbound near Vail Pass on Sunday afternoon as heavy snow covered the roadways and the Colorado Department of Transportation reported at least one crash. According to CDOT, the roadway was closed westbound from Vail Pass Summit (Exit 190) to East Vail (Exit 180), about three miles west of Copper Mountain.
