Winter Weather Forecast For The Sierra Nevada ...Middle East

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the western slope of the northern Sierra Nevada. The Advisory will be in effect from 11 PM this evening until 5 PM Thursday. Snow is forecast for elevations above 6,000 feet. The snow levels may drop down to around 5,000 feet early Thursday morning. The total snow accumulations will range from three inches to half-a-foot. The heaviest snowfall is expected late tonight through Thursday afternoon, then scattered snow showers will persist. Winds could gust as high as forty-five mph.
