DENVER (KDVR) — The tension between Colorado Parks and Wildlife and numerous agricultural and livestock producers in the state has led to 26 state advocacy organizations petitioning the state to delay any gray wolf releases until CPW meets several benchmarks. According to the Colorado Cattlemen's Association, the petition for rulemaking was filed Friday and seeks to delay any further gray wolf introductions into the state "until Colorado’s wolf management program can adequately address the conflicts between wolves and livestock producers."
