Search underway for driver accused of hitting, killed Mooresville woman ...Middle East

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – The Mooresville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle they said fled the scene of a deadly accident on Sunday. The fatal hit-and-run occurred between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:02 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, on Rocky River Road between Milroy Lane and Royalton Road. According to police, the vehicle struck Shaelyn Ellen Bell, 20, from Mooresville, and fled the crime scene. She was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
