Since March, I have taught high school theatre in person, remotely, in a hybrid model, and remotely. I developed and redeveloped curriculum for each modality. I found that my students and I can learn and connect in any form of school, even when students huddled to stay warm in the theater because windows had to stay open. But bouncing back and forth, without warning or clear communication, is simply not sustainable.
