The 40-year-old made their romance public as she took Instagram on Thursday evening to share a loved-up snap with the Premier League boss, 38.
Brighton earlier this week. 
 Lucy was by his side as the manager was awarded it in recognition of his work to improve the lives of young people in Brighton & Hove. 
Lucy, who is a huge Southampton FC fan, cut a demure figure in a black bodycon dress which she teamed with sunglasses and a brown shoulder bag, while Russell opted for a grey suit. 
The couple posed with their arms around one another by the beach and Lucy added a smiley face emoji to the picture.  
 An emotional Lucy also shared a snap of her hugging her friend Claire West, who also graduated, alongside a teary-eyed emoji. 
On receiving the degree, Russell told the BBC 'I'm incredibly grateful and it is a real honour. I still live in Brighton and my kids go to school here, so I'm delighted.
'I did the rounds playing grassroots football in Sussex so it feels a full circle moment.
'I'm looking forward to a trip to the Amex to play Brighton this season, even though I might get abused as I'll be with the away team. I hope it goes better than when I lost 5-0 there!'
The Sun, the couple have grown close in recent months and are completely 'smitten' with each other.
They were also reportedly spotted at a Sky Sports function.
A source said: 'They're a match made in heaven — or at least in Southampton. They're mad for each other.'

Russell has reportedly been coming to terms with the end of his marriage to his wife Jasmine who he shares three children with.
He previously called fitness model Jasmine a 'supermum', saying: 'To achieve what she has with three little ones is amazing.'
The pair split last year with insiders saying there was no crossover with his new relationship with Lucy.
The source said: 'There was no crossover. Russ’s marriage ended and he was glum. It was all about looking after the kids and making sure they were OK.'   
'But amid the grief, as he threw himself into work, Russ grew intimate with Lucy.'
The insider added that, as a die-hard fan, Lucy is a regular at Southampton functions and she and Russell grew close over time.

The brunette also had a small role in the American film Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017. 
Back in 2016, Lucy was said to have been dating Captain America actor Chris Evans and one newspaper claimed at the time that she was 'smitten'.
Though their relationship was never confirmed, the British Page 3 model was spotted enjoying a day date with the hunk at Disneyland in January 2015.
Lucy now lists herself as an actress and has her own podcast Smashing Sundays which she presents with comedy writer, Beth Granville. 
She made her film debut in the comedy horror Strippers vs Werewolves (2012), which was followed by supporting roles in several films. 
In 2017, she starred in the American made-for-television science fiction comedy disaster film Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. 
Lucy keeps fans updated on her Instagram with glimpses of her country life with visits to the Cotswolds, Wales and plenty of snaps from her hometown, Winchester.
