قالت شركة «صافر» لعمليات الإنتاج والاستكشاف، مالكة الناقلة «صافر» الراسية في البحر الأحمر قبالة سواحل الحديدة، وعلى متنها 1.1 مليون برميل من النفط الخام، إنها أُبلغت رسمياً بعمل تقييم وصيانة «خفيفة» للناقلة خلال الفترة المقبلة. لكنها حذرت من أن الناقلة في وضع خطير منذ فترة طويلة، وستبقى في خطر حتى بعد زيارة الفريق الأممي، مشددة على أن توقف الخطر مرهون بتفريغ الخزان العائم من النفط بشكل فوري.
