May 1, 2024 (CAIRO) – In a diplomatic move aimed at ending the conflict, Egypt and Kuwait announced their rejection of foreign interference in the ongoing conflict in Sudan and called on the warring parties to stop the fighting that has been raging in the country for a year. This rejection came in a joint statement issued at the conclusion of the visit of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to Egypt on Wednesday.
