The Premier League match between Liverpool and West Ham ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, leaving fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. The game started off with Liverpool dominating possession and creating numerous chances, but it was West Ham who took the lead through a well-taken goal by Michail Antonio. However, Liverpool quickly responded with a goal from Mohamed Salah to level the score before half-time.
In the second half, West Ham regained the lead with another goal from Antonio, putting them in a strong position to secure all three points. But Liverpool fought back once again, with Sadio Mane scoring a late equalizer to salvage a point for his team.
A quiet first half produced little by way of chances until Luis Díaz hit the post after some positive individual play, but it was the Hammers who took the lead moments later as Jarrod Bowen headed in from a corner in the last few minutes of the half.
Antonio’s header in the 77th minute at London Stadium tied the game after Liverpool recovered from going behind in the 43rd to Jarrod Bowen’s header.
Andy Robertson equalized early in the second half and goalkeeper Alphonse Areola’s own-goal put Liverpool ahead in the 65th.
The draw kept Liverpool in third place, two points behind leader Arsenal, which has a game in hand. City is one point ahead of Liverpool and has two games in hand over Klopp’s team.
West Ham find themselves in a similar position. After also crashing out of the Europa League at the quarterfinal stage, the Hammers suffered a stinging 5-2 defeat in their capital city clash with Crystal Palace. That result has upended their hopes of European qualification for next term, and also appears to have prompted the club to interview replacements for boss David Moyes, with the Scottish manager's reign looking in danger of ending on a sour note. 
When Salah was asked for a comment after the game, video footage on social media showed him saying: “There’s going to be fire today if I speak.”
The 31-year-old Salah has scored in just one of his last six games and has started on the bench for two of Liverpool’s last three matches.
Klopp is leaving at the end of the season after nearly nine years in charge.
Villa are seven points clear of Tottenham in the race to qualify for the Champions League, but the north Londoners have three games in hand.
Idrissa Gueye scored in the 60th minute at Goodison Park to make it four wins out of five for Sean Dyche's Everton, who are safe despite being docked eight points this season for breaches of Premier League financial rules.
Wolves deepened Luton's woes with a 2-1 win and Fulham drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace.
