Max Holloway wins 'BMF' title with KO

On a historic night in the world of mixed martial arts, Max Holloway solidified his status as one of the greatest fighters of all time by winning the coveted 'bmf' title with a stunning knockout victory. The Hawaiian fighter showcased his exceptional skills and relentless determination as he dominated his opponent from start to finish.

Holloway's performance was nothing short of spectacular, as he displayed impeccable striking accuracy and unmatched speed. His precision and power were on full display as he landed a devastating combination that left his opponent unconscious on the canvas.

The atmosphere inside the arena was electric, with fans on their feet cheering for their favorite fighters. The energy and excitement were palpable as each match unfolded, culminating in Holloway's triumphant win.

Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 on Saturday, winning the promotion's ceremonial "BMF" belt in the wildest fashion possible. Seconds from a clear unanimous decision win, Holloway pointed to the center of the Octagon and goaded Gaethje to go full throttle to the buzzer.

A pivotal moment occurred at the end of Round 1. As the horn sounded, Holloway landed a jumping back kick. His heel dug into the nose of Gaethje, who held his face as he walked back to his corner. The damage was apparent as the cut man attended to him between rounds.

Nate Diaz. Masvidal won by TKO, but after that his only BMF involvement was in wrapping the belt around the waist of Gaethje after he knocked out Dustin Poirier last July in the second BMF fight.

The hits just kept coming from Holloway in the third round, and most of the fourth. The UFC's all-time leader in significant strikes was putting on a clinic, up until Gaethje dropped him out of nowhere and put him on his heels for much of the rest of the round.

Holloway survived, though. He had the decision win in his pocket thoughout the fifth round, then decided to throw it to the wind, stepping into a phone booth with one of the most dangerous knockout artists in the promotion.

That would have made Saturday's fight a title defense for Gaethje if only the BMF gimmick operated under real championship rules. But who knows whether Holloway will be part of the next BMF bout. He might be busy competing for a belt that means something more tangible.
