UFC 300 event did not disappoint as Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira went head-to-head in a bloody battle that had fans on the edge of their seats. Tsarukyan, known for his aggressive fighting style, outpointed Oliveira in a grueling match that showcased both fighters' skills and determination.
From the opening bell, it was clear that this fight would be one for the history books. Both fighters exchanged powerful strikes and takedowns, leaving the octagon covered in blood and sweat. Tsarukyan's relentless pressure proved to be too much for Oliveira, who struggled to keep up with his opponent's pace.
Islam Makhachev.
Oliveira jumped a guillotine early in the opening round. Tsarukyan forced his head free, but Oliveira was in mount.
Tsarukyan eventually ended up in top control. He rained down a big elbow that got through Oliveira's guard. An illegal upkick landed from "do Bronx." Oliveira was given a hard warning and the action resumed in the same position.
Tsarukyan looked for a takedown but Oliveira defended the attempt.  Tsarukyan landed his jab and changed levels.  He secured a takedown at the midway mark in the frame.
It was seemingly one round apiece heading into the third and final frame. Whoever could put together the better five minutes, would more than likely earn a rematch with the aforementioned Makhachev this summer. The action was pretty even for the first 2.5 minutes, but then Arman got in on another takedown midway through the round, essentially sealing the deal. Oliveira bucked and tried to get to his feet, but Arman just jumped on his back and continued to ride out the high profile bout. But, in an instant, Oliveira was out and suddenly in control, ending the bout with Arman trapped in a tight d’arce choke. It was too little, too late, though, with the judges awarding Arman the biggest win of his career to date.
