The original series consisted of three games: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. All of these were platform games in which users played a little purple dragon named Spyro and helped him navigate obstacles and enemies on his numerous adventures to save his fellow dragons.
