Sat. 4 p.m.: Postal carrier shot in Warren ...Middle East

WARREN — Police are investigating a shooting this afternoon on the city’s northeast side in which a postal worker was shot. The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. in the area of Scott and Olive streets, according to dispatchers. Residents in the area said yellow police tape has been set up around a mail truck parked near that intersection. No further information, including a condition of the victim, are available.
