Gaza: News orgs sign solidarity letter with journalists ...Kuwait

Over 30 international news organisations have issued an open letter earlier this week standing in solidarity with journalists reporting in war-hit Gaza in "their call for safety, protection, and the freedom to report". The letter stressed to remind the international community that journalists are civilians and authorities must do more to protect them, in compliance with international law. The statement  included signatories from the likes of Reuters, the Associated Press, and AFP, as well as other outlets across Europe, Africa, Asia and the US, and was coordinated by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) with the World Association of News Publishers (WASN-IFRA).
