NEW DELHI: A cabin crew of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), who flew to Toronto on PIA flight PK-782 from Islamabad, went missing while on duty.According to Dawn, Maryam Raza did not show up for her duty on the return flight, PK-784 bound for Karachi, making it the second such incident this year.Upon opening her hotel room in Toronto, authorities discovered her uniform along with a note which read ‘Thank you, PIA’.Raza, a veteran with 15 years of service, had been assigned to the flight from Islamabad to Toronto.This incident marks the second case this year of a PIA stewardess ‘vanishing’ upon landing in Canada, according to the airline spokesman.
