Republican Yemen Yemeni Observatory for Documenting Mines Victims in Yemen said it has documented 842 civilian deaths and 1486 injuries due to mines laid by the Iran-aligned Houthi insurgents in the five-year besieged city of Taiz. According to the Yemeni observatory, Houthi-laid landmines and explosive devices have killed 189 children and 196 women and left 373 children and 302 women wounded since late 2014 in Taiz city, Yemen’s third-largest city.
