2024 NBA : Warriors win over Jazz 129-107

Sport by : (PRESSBEE) -

The year 2024 will forever be remembered as a monumental one in the history of the NBA. It was a season that showcased the dominance of the Golden State Warriors, who emerged victorious over the Utah Jazz with a resounding 129-107 victory in the NBA Finals.

The Warriors' triumph was not only a testament to their exceptional talent and skill but also to their unwavering determination and resilience. Led by their dynamic duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, they displayed an unparalleled level of teamwork and chemistry throughout the season.

The Dubs are looking to expand their winning streak to five games, and earn a winning record for the first time since they entered their Christmas showdown with the Denver Nuggets sporting a 15-14 record.

Steve Kerr will not attend Monday’s game. Kerr — along with assistant coaches Ron Adams and Chris DeMarco, trainer Rick Celebrini, executive Zaza Pachulia, and general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. — traveled to Serbia to attend Dejan Milojević’s funeral on Sunday. Lead assistant Kenny Atkinson will coach in Kerr’s absence.

The Warriors have two players listed on their injury report: Chris Paul, and Gui Santos. Chris Paul is out with a left-hand fracture, and Gui Santos is questionable with left knee soreness. Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson are all listed as available against the Utah Jazz.

The new Jazz starting lineup was ineffective after they traded away mainstays Simone Fontecchio, Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji last week, primarily for draft assets.

Will Hardy said. “Our first group was the one that ultimately didn’t play great tonight.”

After the Warriors notched their fifth straight win, the NBA community on X chimed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on social media on Monday night.
