Authorities cracked down on 53 gambling cases and sent 72 suspects to court – Khmer Times ...Middle East

In the first 28 days of January 2024, the National Police of the Ministry of Interior launched operations to crack down on gambling cases in 53 locations in 15 capitals and provinces. This is according to Touch Sokhak, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior. According to Touch Sokhak, during the operation, the National Police implemented legal measures in 29 locations by sending 72 gambling suspects to court. Of the 29 sites, there are online gambling sites under one business or licence, with three suspects arrested, and 28 local gambling sites, with 69 suspects arrested.
