WARREN — A $750,000 bond was set for former city policeman Michael Edwards Jr. when he appeared in Warren Municipal Court this morning. Edwards Jr. is facing multiple felony charges which include two counts of rape and two counts of aggravated burglary. Edwards Jr. pleaded not guilty during his arraignment this morning. Judge Patricia Knepp issued a no-contact order with the victim “either directly or indirectly.” Edwards is set to appear for another court hearing on Feb 8.
