HUBBARD — One person was sent to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation and “precautionary observation,” following a house fire on Hubbard Bedford Road on Tuesday, according to Eagle Joint Fire District Chief Ron Stanish. “They came home and discovered the fire,” he said. “The first one to come up to the structure heard the smoke alarms going off and went in to rescue the animals and that’s when they discovered the fire in the (bathroom).” The house was occupied by a family of six, as well as four dogs and a snake, Stanish said.
