The highly anticipated matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL ended with a resounding victory for the Ravens, who triumphed with a score of 33-19. This game showcased the Ravens' dominance on both sides of the ball and their ability to execute their game plan flawlessly. From the start, it was evident that the Ravens were determined to establish their ground game. Led by their star quarterback Lamar Jackson, they consistently found success running the ball against a formidable 49ers defense. Jackson's agility and quick decision-making allowed him to exploit gaps in the defense, resulting in several explosive plays.
Ravens are trading blows in the second quarter at Levi’s Stadium.
49ers running back Christian McCaffrey ended a run of 13 straight Ravens points by sprinting for a nine-yard touchdown with 3:23 left in the first half. Kicker Jake Moody’s extra point sliced the Ravens lead to 13-12.
McCaffrey set up the score with a 39-yard run on the previous play and he is now up to nine carries for 84 yards on the night.
The last 10 points the Ravens scored came off of Brock Purdy interceptions. Purdy has thrown three interceptions overall in the first half — it’s the first time he’s done that in the NFL — but the 49ers remain very much in the fight against the Ravens.
The bet spanned players on 14 different teams, meaning 14 of the 16 NFL games played in Week 16 were involved. After Harris and Davis scored on Saturday, nine of the necessary touchdown scorers crossed the plane on Sunday.
On Monday, it came down to Pacheco, Swift and McCaffrey.
Kansas City's offensive struggles in its loss to Las Vegas, Pacheco scored on a 12-yard touchdown run as the team employed some trickery midway through the second quarter.
McCaffrey was as good a bet as anyone, maybe in NFL history, to score a touchdown in any given game, as he entered the night having hit paydirt in 12 of the Niners’ 14 games so far this season.
It bears mentioning that the house advantage on a bet like this is typically enormous for DraftKings, and the book might even be happy to lose this bet given the amount of publicity it will draw.
