WARREN — A city man was sentenced to federal prison Thursday on drug charges. Cory Richards, 28, was sentenced to 10 months in prison and two years of supervised release by U.S. Judge Donald C. Nugent in U.S. Northern District Court of Ohio. Richards accepted a plea agreement in August for charges of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, two counts of distribution of controlled substances, and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. An indictment unsealed in April alleges Richards and a co-defendant, William Crenshaw, 24, had been selling drugs using a Cranwood Drive home in Warren around the time of February to July 2022.
