Big stars missing as Matildas take on Canada for World Cup rematch ...Middle East

The Matildas are without skipper Sam Kerr and first-choice goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold for their Women’s World Cup rematch against Canada. Liverpool goalkeeper Tegan Micah will step up, while Charlize Rule and Sarah Hunter will make their Matildas debuts. Matildas coach Tony Gustavsson chose to rest star players and start comparitively inexperienced players like Alex Chidiac, Temica Sayer and Remy Siemsen up front. World Cup stars like Steph Catley, Mary Fowler, Caitlin Foord, Hayler Raso and Katrina Gorry were all on the bench.
