A US $113.4mn contract has been awarded to J Murphy & Sons. Network Rail awarded the main works contract to build the new Cambridge South railway station in Cambridge, UK. Completion of the project is said to be planned for 2025. According to a report, J Murphy & Sons is the principal civils contractor, working with the South Rail Systems Alliance (Colas Rail UK, AECOM and Network Rail) as principal track contractor.
