To the editor: Frankly, BGHS is in shameful condition. Most classrooms have just two electrical outlets, so multiple extension cords are used to charge student Chromebooks. Those extension cords pose both tripping and fire hazards. Whatever one thinks about how computers have changed the way children are taught and how they learn, personal computers are a fact of life. Our school buildings must facilitate their use in order to appropriately educate the students who are our responsibility and prepare them for the real world.
