The Alexandria International Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries (AIFF) kicks off on Sunday evening until October 5th, with an entire session dedicated to actress Elham Shaheen. The opening ceremony will be held at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, set to the operetta “The Songs Are Still Possible,” conceived and directed by Mohamed Morsi, composed and arranged by Mohamed Mostafa, and starring a large group of Alexandria artists. AIFF chose the short film “Fatima” for the opening film of the 39th session. The film was produced by last year’s festival grant for short films.
