Bowling Green City Schools students painted city snow plows again this fall. They will be on display at the Black Swamp Festival. Conneaut Elementary’s fifth grade used Charley Harper’s nature illustrations as inspiration. His work uses simple shapes and solid colors. “We are showing animals and insects that can be found in Northwest Ohio,” said Conneaut art teacher Kelsey Liska. Bethany Dombi, art teacher from Kenwood, had her students paint flowers in the style of Takashi Murakami. Crim fifth graders painted Matisse images on their plow.
