WALBRIDGE — Village officials will try again to obtain state funding for road paving. At its Aug. 15 meeting, council unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the administrator to prepare and submit an application to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission State Capital improvement and/or local transportation improvement programs. This is the same project that the village applied for last year, to repave Walbridge Road from CSX to East Broadway Road, said Mayor Ed Kolanko.
