PORT CLINTON — In a shootout off the shores of Lake Erie, Rossford (1-1) fell to Port Clinton (2-0), 52-21, in non-league football Friday. The Redskins were up 38-21 at halftime and continued to pull away in the second half, outgaining the Bulldogs 329-293 in total yards. For Rossford, quarterback Jackson Schultz threw 68- and 54-yard touchdown passes to Xavier Kellermeier and Ronald Hawkins IV scored on a four-yard run. Schultz completed 18-of-29 passes for 267 yards but threw two interceptions. Kellermeier caught four passes for 134 yards and Kaden Kirkman caught nine passes for 81 yards.
