Two Illinois men have been indicted after an 18-mile pursuit in a alleged stolen vehicle. A Wood County grand jury on Aug. 16 indicted co-defendants Michael X. Davis, 19, of Zion, Illinois, and Lerico Lamont Pittman, 18, of Rockford, Illinois. Both are in jail. Davis was indicted for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; receiving stolen property; a fourth-degree felony; and possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. On Aug. 2, he reportedly was clocked doing 109 mph in a 70-mph zone on Interstate 80 in Perrysburg Township.
