Real Madrid  met in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, August 2 at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Juventus have won their last two pre-season friendlies, beating Udinese 1-0 and then AC Milan 4-3 on penalties. Real Madrid lost the pre-season version of El Clasico against Barcelona, but managed wins against AC Milan and Manchester United.
Conceding goals and failing to score chances is not exactly a recipe that will get Real Madrid supporters excited about the 2023/24 season.
Real Madrid allowed two easy goals in the first half, and Italian side Juventus ran out with a 3-1 win over the Spanish giants in a preseason friendly played in Orlando. That followed a 3-0 loss to rivals Barcelona on Saturday night.
Juventus scored in the opening minute, with Moise Keane free to tap home a rebound in the six-yard box after a Weston McKennie shot hit the post. McKennie was once again involved on the second, finding Tim Weah in the box. And then Dusan Vlahovic got a tap-in at the far post on the final play of the game deep in stoppage time.
The first goal looked easy, and then Juve picked Real apart for the other two, as Carlo Ancelotti's side struggled to manage without Aurelien Tchouameni in midfield and with both their fullbacks pushing high into the attack for the entire match. 
Wojciech Szczesny and two misses by Real Madrid forward Joselu kept Real Madrid from more goals as they were frustrated in attack for a second straight match.
Just as it was a year ago, Juve’s final friendly of the U.S. tour will be against old buddy Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid. That friendly a little over a year ago did not go well, with Real Madrid very much out-classing Juventus and basically giving us a sign of what was to come as the games that actually counted arrived.
So here’s to hoping that this year’s friendly meeting with Real Madrid doesn’t go as poorly as that one. Or maybe it will considering the look of the two squads entering this visit to Florida.
Juventus, who are facing a season of transition without European competition, close out on a high. After a match against Barcelona was scratched due to a virus that struck the Spanish side, they drew AC Milan 2-2 and ended with a prestigious win against a Real Madrid team that should contend for the La Liga title in Spain.
This was the last scheduled friendly for both clubs, as Real Madrid start their La Liga season on Aug. 12 at Athletic Club with Juventus in action a week later in Serie A at Udinese (Aug. 20).
