Rangers manager Michael Beale has warned Rangers’ defending must improve after they conceded “poor” goals in the 3-1 friendly defeat by Olympiakos at Ibrox.
"It's good we are getting that feedback now,” Beale told Rangers TV.
“All three of the goals were really, really poor defending. It's a whole team thing so we need to look at that.
"Some of our approach play and some of the attacking play was good. Listen, it's really good feedback. We trained hard coming into the game so I knew we would be a bit heavy in the legs so that's on me.
Michael Beale has played down the transfer fee he's set to pay for Danilo.
Rangers have had a bid accepted for the Feyenoord striker, who has said his goodbye to his teammates in Rotterdam prior to making his way to Glasgow to complete the switch.
It has been reported that the Gers lodged an offer of around £6million. The Dutch champions booted out an initial bid of £4.5million, but relented at the second attempt. It's also been claimed that the Brazilian could warn up to £45,000 per week in Govan.
But Beale was at pains to insists the numbers mentioned in relation to Danilo aren't as big as reports have suggested.
James Tavernier penalty proved to be a rare highlight for the home crowd as Rangers produced a largely forgettable performance under the floodlights.
The trip to face Hoffenheim this weekend will now round off the schedule before the competitive action begins away to Kilmarnock a week on Saturday.
Rangers are also in full pre-season mode, ahead of their Scottish Premiership opener against Kilmarnock on 5 August. The Gers, who finished second last term, seven points behind champions Celtic, have already recorded narrow friendly wins against Bundesliga 2's Hamburg and 3. Liga outfit Halle, whilst losing to Newcastle United. Michael Beale's side will also take on Olympiacos before travelling to Sinsheim for their final pre-season assignment of the summer. Ex-Bundesliga trio Leon Balogun, Rabbi Matondo and Sam Lammers are all expected to play some part.
