NYC to open two new migrant shelters in Queens and Brooklyn: Mayor Adams ...Middle East

The first of the two new shelters, the Crowne Plaza JFK Airport in Queens, will be shifted from serving as a so-called respite center, and, starting Tuesday, will be used as a longer-term humanitarian relief center to house more than 330 migrant families with children. The second site, 47 Hall Street, near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, is expected to house about 1,400 adults and to be fully up and running in the coming weeks.
