An accomplished Bowling Green mom of six will be the new assistant principal at Bowling Green High School. At Friday’s meeting, the board of education hired Beth Utz as assistant high school principal. She replaces Katie Bacon, who left for an assistant principal’s job in Perrysburg school district. “I’m very excited,” Utz said. Dan Black, who is principal at the high school, said they received 14 applications and invited six in for interviews. Utz has six children who went through Bowling Green schools with the last being a senior this year. “I’m ready to take this head on and work with Mr. Black,” she said.
