Atlanta, GA – Austin Peay State University (APSU) men’s basketball alum Codey Bates was named the recipient of the 2023 ASUN Conference Postgraduate Scholarship Thursday. A four-year member of the APSU men’s basketball team, Bates graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science in May and will begin pursuing his master’s in criminal justice from Austin Peay State University in the fall. “I would like to give a special shoutout to God, my family, and friends, other loved ones, and to the Academic Success Center at Austin Peay who nominated me for this award,” said Bates. “Without the help of the Academic Success Center, I would not be able to use this scholarship to go towards housing
