Phone in dam: Babu fined Rs 53,000 for draining out water ...Middle East

The Chhattisgarh government officer who was suspended for pumping out over 41 lakh litres of water from a reservoir in Kanker to look for his mobile phone has been fined Rs 53,092 by the water resource department (WRD). Food inspector Rajesh Biswas has been ordered to cough up the fine within 10 days.
