A Ukiah man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly choking a pregnant woman and violating a restraining order filed against him, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, officers responded to the 200 block of Thomas Street around 7:30 p.m. May 24 when a “distressed pregnant female (said she was) being choked by her ex-boyfriend,” who was identified as Andru J.
