The 21st annual ukiaHaiku Festival returns to the Grace Hudson Museum Wild Gardens on Sunday, May 7 from 2-4 p.m. Join us to celebrate Ukiah’s palindrome with a live performance from the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas’ Developing Virtue Boys School, readings of past haiku contest winners from various local luminaries including: Lake County Poet Laureate Georgina Marie Guardado, Supervisor Mo Mulheren, UHS Pomo Language teacher and Vice-Chairperson for Sherwood Valley Rancheria Buffie Schmidt, Mendocino County Superintendent of Schools Nicole Glentzer, Point Arena Poet Laureate Blake More, and more.
